Computeractive App Support

Thanks for buying this app, and apologies if you’re having a problem with it. On this page you’ll find answers to the most common questions and problems, plus information on how to contact us for more help.

If you have any problems with the app, please first download the latest update (v1.1) from the App Store. To do this:

1) Exit the Computeractive app by pushing the Home button
2) Open the App Store
3) Tap the ‘Updates’ button at the bottom
4) Find Computeractive in the list, tap the Free button next to it, and follow the prompts

Please note that we cannot provide support for, and the instructions below will not work with, any old versions of the app.

Buying Issues

Issues of Computeractive are available individually for £2.49. To buy one, tap on the screen to show the menus, then tap Store:

Tap the price of the issue you want and follow the instructions to buy it.

To view or open the issues that you own, tap Library from the top menu:

All the issues you own are available to download or open here.

Subscribing

A three month subscription currently costs £4.99. To subscribe and get this substantial saving, tap the screen to open the menus, then tap Store:

Tap the price of the subscription you want and follow the prompts. Once you have subscribed, your issues will appear in the Library:

You’ll notice your subscription renewal date is also included here for your reference. All iPad subscriptions will auto-renew until you cancel them via the App Store.

Problem with your Subscription?

All subscription payments are handled by Apple. In the unlikely event that you subscribe but cannot download any issues, tap the ‘Restore All’ button in the Library menu – this contacts Apple, checks your status, and unlocks your issues.
